Nel particularly loves landscapes, florals and abstracts . She says

“From a small child I always liked change and found it interesting and inspiring. I enjoy painting a wide variety of subjects for the same reason as after having a concentrated period of painting, say florals for Chelsea Flower Show, I can then approach a series of landscapes with renewed interest.”
